That realm is populated by millions of convoys poorly escorted and full of tankers and liners. Where the Luffwaffe is alway at your beck and call. Also this is the realm that all fallen U-boats go to patrol the seas and protect all men who sail upon its waters regardless of allied or axis alingment.

Someone posted up in this thread a pic of a sub going very fast - they'd modified some numbers in a CFG file. Can anyone tell me which CFG file please? I've tried looking in the CFG for my specific sub model and it does have max. speed numbers but changing them has no effect.

You don't change the CFG files. Go http://www.delraydepot.com/tt/sh3sdk.htm and then you download the MiniTweaker with the tweak files (don't forget this). Read the instructions and you'll be fine! They your boat will go 500kt. Just don't forget to turn on unlimited fuel. This babies eat 200% of all your diesel per mile at those speeds :p
