Press H for help

It allows you to edit the gradient used to render the map in the map views. In the bottom left hand corner you can adjust the individual values of the gradient by double clicking the value and typing in new value (0-255). Save button will obviously save the gradient. Map button will cause the map to be rendered using that gradient. Fill colors causes the Gradient colors box entries to be filled with the gradient selected.

test version 0.0.4: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=3A6F25NA

If you have problems run the Dbgview app found in the package first. Send me output of Dbgview app.

Here's something and I cannot solve it.

On the sea - installed 6.7.0, copied the choosen dials to the proper directories - and nothing happened in the game.
Installed 6.7.1 and everything is a mess, uncloseable windows in the middle of the screen, new buttons appear that are not working, etc...

Any ideas? Tried to read back but more than 500 pages seems to last forever to process.

Thanks in advance! :)

Sounds like your options file is corrupted. Try using an unmodified options file and see what happens.

Run the Dbgview app found in \data\Applications before starting the game. Will need to see output of the Dbgview app when error occurs.

Hi, TDW.
The Map v.004 was not loaded. Writes "Error creating map gradient" and "Unable to generate gradients".

try this: v0.0.6: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=O624VRC2

Run the Dbgview app included with the package first to capture any problems/errors

test version v0.0.7 of the Map viewer/gradient editor: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=6H7533Q0

some users were having problems when it was creating the gradients. Changed how the gradients are 'stored' in memory

Do i just put it in the sh5 folder .
I select game SH5
The only option i have is map 1 , i press ok
It says gradient tgas were found. Would you like to use C:\Ubisoft\silent hunter 5\gata\terrain\Pal\gradient.tga instead ?
I press yes
The app says generating map 1
app says unhandled error occured while generating gradients and map .
I am using version 7

This is what appears to be a DirectX problem. Update your DirectX by visiting Microsoft's DirectX website and running the DirectX update web installer.
