I never thought i'd like it THIS much just from two episodes. Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul make a good pair of characters. :)

Let me rework that a bit so it fits for me :hmmm:

Started watching Attack on Titan today.

I never thought i'd like it THIS much just from two episodes. The characters are an interesting lot.

Now I'm going to watch episode three. Bai.

EDIT: wait, isn't this thread about movies, not TV shows?

Stealhead 07-18-14 12:56 AM

TV shows have already been mentioned several times.
Besides the second question asks what you are watching not what movie you are watching.

I just enjoy nitpicking the nitpicker sometimes.

Just come from watching Gardians of the Galaxy! Very cool and good movie. Lots of action, jokes and cameo+easter eggs for many fans!

You know...I've never seen that. I really should watch it.

It's actually been a while since I've watched a good naval movie. :hmmm:

You should also read the book. The movie follows it closely, but is forced to leave a lot out. But the movie itself? It was filmed on a real corvette. You can't get much better than that.

Otto Harkaman 11-19-14 10:24 PM

The whole movie isn't on youtube, that I could find, I got it from another source...

...but there does seem to be a radio adaptation of the novel available.

Nicholas Monsarrat's 'The Cruel Sea', adapted for radio on youtube

Red October1984 11-19-14 11:51 PM

I'm going to watch it either this weekend or over Thanksgiving break.

I've got several movies to catch up on. There's been another installment of the Saints and Soldiers series that I haven't seen yet. The first two are actually pretty good low-budget war movies.

Eichhörnchen 11-20-14 04:00 AM

If you like old British naval movies, Otto, then you may/may not know "In Which We Serve", "Above Us The Waves" and "We Dive At Dawn". A bit cheesy now but good for a rainy afternoon when they used to be on TV...

Jimbuna 11-20-14 07:33 AM

I may already have posted the links, can't remember but here are a few 'full movies'.

^ Thanks Eichhornchen and Jimbuna, finished "The Cruel Sea" last night, I was surprised how many famous British actors were in it.

"In Which We Serve" looks interesting, Thanks!

"Above Us the Waves" wow so this is based on a true story

(Also known as "Dance of the Vampires") I was about to plonk this on the Charles Manson thread then thought that might seem direspectful to the memory of Sharon Tate.

A favourite film, packed with laughs.

^ A classic!

mapuc 11-21-14 03:17 PM

Now and then I get a free movie to watch on my video streaming service homepage.
Got a free ticket for this weekend.

Wonder what I should see

The latest transformers: age of extinction
or
Dawn of the planet of the apes(2014)
