My deeply felt apologises go to you, Frau.

As far as I can see, my mistake was that I didn't include a link to the German lyrics of that lovely song for you.

So I guess you were sitting there, and because of missing some of the often rather complex word constructions used in this masterpiece you were not able to enjoy the full potential of that beautiful song. :O:

Please feel free to listen once again with the lyrics provided in this post.

As a next step, you could sing (trällern) this song karaoke - like for your and your neighbourhoods maximum pleasure. :D

BTW - Merry Christmas time to all of you!

My German is still mostly nonexistent but the gist of it seems to be that a boy's best friend is his mother.

BTW I left my kenpo lesson at 10:30 this morning to go Christmas shopping. Between the traffic and the crowds and the necessity of sorting through piles of picked-over sales merchandise looking for proper colors and sizes while dodging the perfume salespeople trying to spray scent at me plus having to be constantly on guard against making eye contact with mall survey takers and kiosk vendors eager to sell me cell phone contracts, matching holiday scarf and hat combos, and personalized tree ornaments, I didn't get home 'til almost 6:30 this evening.

And my day was STILL better than the the 30 seconds I spent watching that video. :O:

Possibly I escaped this year by going last friday to the mall, the day after one of the first hollydays in December that everyone utilize for the xmas shopping!

But since until the 24 it will what Frau descrives, I do not want to talk soon.....

My overriding concern is buying something that turns out to be the wrong size for eaxample and having to go back for a double dose of torture :o

Ahhh, but here we got a 30 days for exchanging, so everyting is done after xmas time. But the 27th is when the sales begin here so... a small dose of the torture is back...

Tree's up, kids arguing, I'm hiding in bathroom with phone/interweb.

Just in from work and noticed a Lightning with a broken cockpit canopy but still mounted on the stand.

Of course nobody knows anything about it :stare:

A very long time ago I saw a sign in a department store on December 26:

ONLY 364 MORE SHOPPING DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!
