Guys 4 more things to do before getting wet.

1. Fit the cockpit windows
2. repaint the deck
3. fit the electronics
4. The fittings ( I may launch it first and then put on the fittings)

I am going to deal with the windows and the deck today
and then I will have to find an idea on how to prevent the motor from moving around itself.

Cockpit windows done. in two hours I will start painting the deck.

I know but I also need to wait for the glue to dry before I start painting
The good thing is that because I am painting it at evening it will have dried 'till next morning so when I get up I can start work on the electrics.

Deck repaint done.
first thing tommorow : electronics.

"Bravo" for your great (and fine) work, convoy hunter.

But it's maybe largely time to replace your bath-tub with a swimming pool ... :D

yes I thought that too. but the local lake is by far better than a swimming pool.

Herr-Berbunch 08-04-11 02:25 PM

Nice to see it wet at last, just on the outside would've been better though. ;)

Keep it up!

convoy hunter 08-05-11 01:17 AM

still leaking today.:damn: :damn: :damn: :damn:
We will see tommorow if the leaks will stop.

You need a silicone shaft seal...measure the dimater of your propellor shaft and purchase one from your local hobby shop.

convoy hunter 09-21-11 08:40 AM

leaks fixed today and a floatation test has been completed just now and I am here to tell you that it is NOT LEAKING ANYMORE!!!!!!:woot:

Herr-Berbunch 09-21-11 08:54 AM

:woot::woot::woot:
