There are many saints called James, the most famous being Saint James the Elder, one of the Apostles. As a common name it has many namesakes, such as the author James Joyce or the fictional British spy James Bond ("007"). The name has been used for royalty: James has been the name of two Kings of England (James I ruled from 1603-1625, and James II from 1685-1688). In the UK James was the sixth most popular name for boys in 2006; it ranked 16th in the US in the same year.

James is the title character in Roald Dahl's "James and the Giant Peach".

James has been the name of six US Presidents: James Madison, James Monroe, James K. Polk, James Buchanan, James Garfield, and James "Jimmy" Carter. It is the most popular first name for US Presidents.

You are a saints, after hard work on support, for almost everything in hunting.......you now, I need one to load my eels, Intresting :hmmm:

Owen here :salute:

means "young fighter" in Gaelic or something.

I like that I have a Hefting move. though.

Owen
Etymology: first occurance of move in Wagrain Hefting Contest, April 2009, named after performer of move (Owen Hicks).
In Hefting, an Owen occurs when two or more Hefters attempt to Heft another simultaneously when the Heftee is out of the bed Hefting another and, thus, the Hefters attempting to Heft them end up fighting each other instead. Due to this, the Owen (the absent Heftee) has essentially hefted three or more people without laying a finger on more than one.

I even have my own activity

Owening
Stronger than an 'own'. Stronger even than a 'pwn'. Owening is the ultimate domination of any activity or just life in general. Including but not limited to: Video games, smuggling peas, tonsil hockey with the ladies, Destroying random ships with the swing of your sword, growing some mean facial hair or just jamming out on the raddest sparkle ridden green guitar.

I swear I'm being followed...

Nah, Wright-Patt is outside Dayton, farther north than I get more than every coupla years at most. I think I was taken to the museum there when I was very young, but I barely remember it. I didn't even know enough to ask to see the aliens.

The ONM operates waaaaaaay up north, based on Lake Erie.

Unless the Navy decides to sail up the Ohio River, not much naval action goin' on in these parts, lol.

:haha:

I have been successfully "avoiding" my first name for over 30 years. Neither that nor my middle name as it appears on my birf certiferkut have officially existed since I lost a wallet a quarter of a century ago and had to replace my Soc Sec card as a result.

It ain't in the phone book, it ain't on my tax forms, even my best friends and employers don't know what it is.

I like to think the mystery is part of my charm. :O:

Other than my close family, no one knows my full name, I like it that way because;
1) Name is way to long and complex
2) I like some mystery too:up:

but what does people call you then?

I prefer "She Who Must Be Obeyed," but "Ma'am" will usually do in a pinch. :O:

Seriously, though, I go by my middle name - just not exactly as it appears on my birth certificate.
