The good thing is this http://images.idgentertainment.de/im...0x600_prop.jpg "7 unique submarines and enemy ship skins" So there will be more subs then VIII type or just 7 diffrent VIIIs skins? :| |
They don't want the game to be judged on a preview version, where some graphic stuff is turned off because they want to test things first before adding the candy graphic layer above.
That's the problem with unfinished previews. You don't want the game to be judged upon screenshots or what can be seen. Because they did build a preview and they've got a better one they're working on but it takes too much time to build daily previews for the press. So the press gets a several weeks old preview of the game. Some graphic options are turned off until all works so the game won't look the same in the finished version too. We have to wait for the final version to really know. And what matters to me is more if the game will be crippled with online authentication (so what happens the day they pull the plug ? I play Wow so it's not the online requirement that is a problem, it's Ubisoft turning off the authentication servers someday if I prefer to play a specific version for years to come of Silent Hunter because either they will stop producing new ones or I won't find interesting to play console-like Silent Hunter compared to previous versions). The second other point for me is will the game be as nice to play as SH3 + some mods when it comes to Uboat combat and atmosphere ? I went from SH3 to SH4 without a problem. I had SH3 for Uboats and SH4 for the US side (what a stupid mistake I did selling SH3...). But I am going to be much more cautious about SH5. I won't buy it until a patch is out, and I have read all I can from the fine people here :ping: |
