Yep, "acceptance" usually comes from a proposed candidate: "I accept the nomination", or, as Lyndon Baines Johnson famously said, "If nominated, I will not run. If elected, I will not serve."

I was thinking along the lines of "entries after 12/6 will not be accepted for consideration", which is almost verbatim the language used for the legalize on certain lottery tickets. :cool:
