I just recieved a Dev Diary package, appears to be a set of screens with a doc explaining the game interface. Has it been posted anywhere yet?

Here it is:

The interface is very scalable and can run in any resolution greater than 1024*768. Basically, the available screen resolutions reported by DirectX are only a restriction to the game.
This means the game can run at any aspect ratio, on any monitor: 4:3, 5:4, 16:9, 16:10 etc. So, go ahead and buy the HD monitor you want, Silent Hunter 4 will make full use of it. We tested the game and looks great on 37” HD monitors.

We just keep getting more good news.:sunny:

Not showing on the SH4 site for me. And, Neal, you have bad link on the pic right above the Customizable Interface section.

Now, as to content: WOW! Sounds great.

Neal please try to catch some exclusive material for subsim in exchange, will you? Maybe they give in? :)

Pretty soon and this thread anouncing Dev Diary #4 due out soon, would have gone out through the bottom of SH4's web page and no telling what happens to threads that sooner or later have to exit stage bottom ... probably a shredder down there, uh. :yep:

Now we can wonder how soon the SH4 has gone Gold bell will ring :ping: ... I'm really looking forward to that announcement soon and very soon ...

Sailor Steve 02-23-07 05:50 PM

And sooner than you think you'll be looking back on this and saying "Wow! That was a long time ago!" Happened with SHII and SHIII as well.

Boris 02-23-07 06:29 PM

Well, no point in waiting for this dev diary anymore... it's the game I'm waiting for
