Since no one has mentioned it, I must be the only one getting odd characters in certain posts. Mostly it's a capital A with a caret over top, but have seen other symbols too. It appears to occur around certain puntuation marks and only by some posters.
This is a new puter so may not have a setting correct. zz |
I think I know what's causing it, will make some changes, let me know if you see any new posts with wacky characters, thanks.

Excellent, a step on the right direction. I have been using vBulletin for a couple of years now for an Army forum here in the UK, far and above the best, but a buggar to do upgrades.
Drebbel, your location (?) should that not read Periscope Depth?:know: |
A cool feature would be to have a link to "New Posts" separate for DW and SH3 categories. It is pretty simple, just add to the original New post link
Code:
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/search.php?do=getnew Code:
&include= or &exclude= Cheers OS |
How about getting a better icons for the various thread. I can barely see the difference. I really have to look at them, can barely see the difference. In the old forums you would glance at the page and see the difference in a split second.
http://img340.imageshack.us/img340/3140/chgmggj6cq.png For instance the difference between Hot Thread WIth New Posts and Without New Posts. I do not see the difference ?!?!? |

Msnm button - address error.
Sorted Neal... my msnm address is now correct. I'm assuming the forum changeover had something to do with the typo in the 'new' section where you add personal information. I had another look at the user CP and discovered that as part of my email/msn address instead of 'jumpyjump@whtever.com' it was 'jumpujump'. One small edit later... Problem sorted:up: |
