Observer,
The complete mod from chomu also include a "clean paper" for nav map and a non red (in the center) night light. This way you always have a clean colours. I only use the pencil because I like the durty map. I intend to add a new cloumn with the night durty colors too. Or maybe chomu himself can do it. Rubini. |

Hi rubini Just DLd ur mod but two probs:
1. The Postion of the IX sub in Wilhelmshafen is messed up 90 deg wrong. 2. Something with the orders mod of IUB doesn t work as u get the 2x2 sized order symbols so maybe u should consider doing a version which doesn t change the interface. (basic.cfg) All the other things were not test jet hope u can solve those probs and then i will go on partrol to see our new harbours. |
Excellent work as always Rubini!
Downloading it now on my crappy 56k, hehe! |
Thanks Hunterbear!
chris, -Are you using IUB? You install the new HT over IUB? I don't remember to put a IX uboat there...:hmm: I need to know these things to start a debug if needed. Rubini. |
yes exactly i installed it over IUB 1.02 , maybe that is something left in when u tried to change the starting positions in the sub-pens to the correct date. my starting time was mid 1940.

Thanks chris,
I will return to my home only in 4 hours. Then I will look for this ASAP and post a feedback later. Do will stay in the forum until the next 4 or 5 hours? Rubini. |
chris,
I just return to my home and open the SCR and LND files from HT 1.47 standalone and RUB compatible ones. So I can confirm that in Wilhelmshaven (I also look in Kiel and Brest) we don't have any type IX scripetd there. So this can be a IUB issue. Don't forget that the HT is made for stock and RUB, not IUB. ORGy have adapted the HT 1.46 for IUB, so the new version is not totally compatible with IUB 1.02. We will need release a specific version for IUB to avoid things like the menus problems... Please chris let me know if this explanation helped you. Cheers, Rubini. |
So We have to wait for Orgy as i am sure he did edit the Basic.cfg and the Flotllia which was also changed in HT 1.47 strange , cause the HT 1.46 for RUB 1.45 works without probs so maybe u should just do aspecial version which only changes the Campaign files and the Other files which do change something in the games different layers and maps , but leave out the part of the mod which changes the interface. Than normaly there should be no probs with the IUB 1.02 . Tried to find out what acctualy went wrong but couldn t find it yet.
Maybe Orgy could help.I will Just PM him. |
I saw that in HT 1.47 includes Beery's Flottilla 1.44 mod. Does this mean that you cannot get a XXI in April of 1944? (in RuB I read that the XXI is available only for 1-2 missions before the end of the war (April 1945).
Thanks! |
I need Sh3 commander(newer version) to run a sucessful "milk the cow" mod? Im downloading right now and starting a new career with Rub1.45 and now HT 1.47.. yaaayy..

I'm enjoying the mod very much, but I have one question: Are the sub pens at Kiel supposed to be gone? The readme says so, but I'm still seeing them. Which file did I not use to make this happen?

Salvadoreno,
-I will be fast and stealthy. I'm in vacation, in a Hotel on the road, and if my wife find me at internet i'm a dead man. :D Yes, to play correctly the Milk Cow feature of the HT mod, SH3Cmdr is needed. Just play the game as it is. When, and only when, you dock at a milk cow unit changes the days in base to 1 using SH3Cmdr. Later when you dock at home base changes again to 28 days using SH3Cmdr. Only this. Important issues: 1.Notice that to do this you may exit the game , changes the days in base and restart the game using Sh3Cmdr. 2.All will runs fine even you don't do this, but you will spent 28 days in a milk cow ressuply duty what is not historical accurate. Enjoy! Sailor Steve, -It's my mistake. I forget to modify the naval base position on the RUB version for Kiel. So for now this is only implemented in the non RUB version. But it's easy to do. Just open the LND layer on the Mission Editor and changes the naval base position to the open dock in Kiel and save. I already corrected this issue for the next release. ;) Thanks to use it Steve! Rubini. |
