Update on the storm and weather forecast;

Special weather statement in effect for:

• North Bay - Powassan - Mattawa
• West Nipissing - French River

Heavy snow likely late Saturday into Sunday morning.
An area of snow is expected to move into Northeastern Ontario late in the day Saturday and continue through the night. The snow will likely be heavy at times and current guidance suggests that 10 to 20 cm/3.9-7.8" of snow may be possible by Sunday morning. Snowfall warnings may be required.

There is still uncertainty in the intensity and track of this system. Environment Canada meteorologists are watching its development closely and will issue further statements or alerts as required.

The weather map just showed some snow moving down from Glasgow & Edinburgh and could get to Newcastle Upon Tyne.
One can only hope.

looks like we got about 8"/20cm in total. I will scrap it off sometime around 11A.M. It is Sunday and I don't get my butt in gear too early on a Sunday.

We should have a sunny week ahead with highest temperature 4°C.
The snow will dissapear in a few days. Ground temperature in the sun can quickly go to 15° or 20°. One exposed mole hill of dark soil and it's starts metling away like it's March.
