If I left the washing for the wife to do I'd have very little to wear, although why should she do it when she works full time (and some) and I'm only part time.

At least if I'm doing it it gets washed my way and not everything at 30C like her indoors would do.

So you are saying you don't like your knickers getting steamy?:O:

Doing the washing is like Apartheid rules, keep the whites separate. I once made the mistake of letting a red item join the party and ended up with everything pink. Not a good look for tennis whites. Much easier to leave it to the washing fairy to sort out. The dryer can be risky as well with too much static creating mini lightning storms.

Aye that.

Radio now reports the weekend dry and a max of 73 cooling down as the week to mid 50's with gusting winds. I think they throw darts at a weather board and there you go.

I found out the weather service used by the radio station I listen to, yesterday the radio gave out Wednesday on wards over 82! Checked their weather site on the net and today low 70's wow in less than 24 hours down 12! Best way to get the weather look out the window I say.

They make it sound like everybody in California is going to die. There's a reason they call that particular desert "Death Valley". Parts of Arizona have been around 120. Where I live we're expecting a nice 103. :D

There are only two seasons in Phoenix, Arizona: Hot and Hotter.

I can say the same about the UK more rain and even more bloody rain.

I don't know about that, Saturday was warm and sunny, and a tad overcast at times. Sunday (here, at least) was glorious sunshine and hot - I even lathered suncream on!!!

That's it, summer's over, bring on the thermals, hat, scarf and gloves.

Jimbuna 07-01-13 07:24 AM

Agreed, Sunday was great up north but I'm as stiff as a board after the gardening :-?

The girl next door out sunbathing was she? :03:
