Nothing incredible about it; I screw up all the time.

That said, it doesn't really matter what arguments have been made before. You are arguably one of the most intelligent members on these boards, well-read and well-informed, and when you actually enter a debate your knowledge and references are without peer.

On the other hand you have a nasty habit of dropping all pretence of intellectual authority and stooping as low as possible, sniping at people for no good reason and insulting anyone you please, and always try to justify it with a simple "They deserve it". Maybe they do and maybe they don't, but the rest of us don't deserve to be subjected to this kind of childish game-playing. Please try to get a clue.

And so it should cease to be the norm.....whilst agreeing with Steve and doing my level best to recognise your positions/opinions I am asking that you conduct some restraint because bad post reports are becoming a common factor and as such I would rather a modicum of common sense and understanding could prevail.

You are a worthwhile contributor sir....but this forum deserves a little more consideration toward all contributors.

Can we all not agree to disagree but in a respective manner?

I am practising restraint. It just often doesn't appear that way

Whenever I trot out my favorite saying, "Some people are born stupid. I've had to work hard all my life to get this way...and I'm proud of the job I've done!", there is usually someone who will tell me I'm not stupid. And I know I'm not, which is why I feel so free to say it.

I know you're not either, and so do you. Keep smiling, play a little nicer and we'll all be a little happier.

Except me, but that's another story. :sunny:

@Jim
By that I meant I am practising, just very slow on the improvement and often slip backwards.

@Steve. I have a different view, humans are stupid, it is what humans are, acknowledging that is a basic step, people who don't think they are stupid are unable or unwilling to take the first basic step at addressing and living with their natural state.

Blood_splat 12-09-11 10:05 AM

Jesus would be killed immediately by our world governments. :O:

Takeda Shingen 12-09-11 10:09 AM

Jesus would probably have a hard time being heard over the roar of the multitudes of people telling trying to tell everyone else what Jesus actually meant.

mookiemookie 12-09-11 10:18 AM

Jesus would need a PR firm
