They don't seem to fry so well... :damn:

yubba 03-05-11 05:25 PM

Get some tin foil, baby, slicem wrap them and throw them in the fire don't forget the butter, just remember when socialism takes hold only the elites will have butter, and you'll have to have a permit for that fire, and wait a week in line for the tinfoil:har: Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, remember you can do that in a free society. Ain't the first Amendment great.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J653tPPHARs any questions?

Potato Rosti

1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for baking sheet
2 large onions, grated on the large holes of a box grater
5 pounds Yukon gold or russet potatoes
1 tablespoon coarse salt
3/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
8 ounces Swiss cheese, grated (two cups)

Directions
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees, with rack in lower third. Generously brush a 17-by-12-inch rimmed baking sheet with oil.
  • Place onions in a large bowl. Peel potatoes, and grate on the large holes of a box grater, adding them to bowl and stirring into onions as you work to prevent discoloration. Squeeze handfuls of the mixture to release excess liquid, and transfer mixture to another bowl.
  • Add salt, pepper, cheese, and oil to potato mixture, and toss well to combine. Sprinkle mixture over prepared baking sheet, and press down lightly with your hands to form an even layer.
  • Bake until golden, about one hour. Remove from oven, and cut into squares. Serve immediately with applesauce.

I have no quarrel with either side. My quarrel is with people who talk as if they "know" they are right and the other guy is wrong. That attitude makes it difficult to learn anything, even harder to get at the truth, and impossible to fix it. All you can do is sink into calling names and laughing at people who might (or might not) know more than you.

Is that really all there is to offer?

MADISON, Wis. (AP) – Liberal filmmaker Michael Moore is urging Wisconsin residents to fight Republican-backed efforts to strip most public workers of their collective bargaining rights.
Moore spoke to thousands of people during a rally Saturday outside the Wisconsin Capitol, where demonstrators are nearing their third straight week of protests.
The crowd roared in approval as Moore implored protesters to keep up their struggle against Republican Gov. Scott Walker’s legislation, comparing their fight to Egypt’s revolt.
Moore says the wealthy have overreached, first taking the working class’ money and then taking their souls by shutting them up at the bargaining table.
Walker has said the legislation is needed to help ease a state deficit projected to hit $3.6 billion by mid-2013. A Democratic senator says negotiations with the GOP broke down last this week.
THIS IS A BREAKING NEWS UPDATE. Check back soon for further information. AP’s earlier story is below.
Negotiations have stalled in Wisconsin over Republican-backed efforts to strip most public workers from their collective bargaining rights, a Democratic lawmaker said Saturday as pro-union demonstrators neared their third straight week of protests at the state Capitol.
Sen. Tim Cullen said talks with Republicans broke down Thursday but communication lines remain open. Cullen said it’s difficult for either side to compromise, since Democrats don’t want to lose support from their base and Republican Gov. Scott Walker doesn’t want to appear weak by backing down.

Obama care is still unconstitutional and this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J653tPPHARs ok I' m sorry about the laughing. hell a year ago I didn't know I was liberal till I saw the light ,and was Hannatised now I'm right. didn't know right from left. Been a party animal for 30 years, and this government is destroying our country and I'm POED because I'm sober.

Bah, left, right, black, white, brown, yellow, pink, purple or blue, the fundamental things will stay no matter who you elect, the rich will get richer and the poor will get poorer. The only difference is by how much. So at the end of the day, all the ho-hah about Obama or Bush or Clinton or Bush or Reagan, it all don't mean jack, because nothing will change.
The sooner America realises that, the sooner it can get on with existing.

True, but painting all liberals with the same brush isn't much different. Many can (and do) say similar things about all conservatives, and I give them grief about it too.

Again with the Franklin quote: "Praise-All and Blame-All are two blockheads."

Hannatised
Now there's a problem. Hannity is one of the ones who cured me of outright conservatism. He has plenty of things to say, but no thought behind them at all.

Well and profoundly said.

yubba 03-05-11 08:29 PM

correcto a mundo my British freind the rich get richer because of the Government , the poor can't get rich because the government doesn't want them rich, the Gov wants them on welfare and the Gov hold the goodies over their heads, and threatens to take the goodies away if some one else, is miss behaving, this is called collective punishment. This gov has already gone over edge, I'm trying not to get caught in the slip stream. we can change this vote wisely.
