well, despite my previous post, there`s news about the typhoon, and i guess, you`ll like it, yamato!

nope, making radio available while being submerged goes beyond the game engine`s capabilities. ps this isnt a finished mod afterall, i only replaced the model of XPetit`s Typhoon fx with my own.

JH, ive noticed that the most the boats will rock in game is about .5degrees roll, and about .25degree pitch (both ways). im guna try to fix this....
IMO, nuke boats should have ATLEAST 2/1.5 degrees of pitch/roll movement in rough seas. :nope: aight. im guna hop to it! P.S. i also want to add a snorkel to the Oscar II/Akula.... can you give me details on how to do this? (i plan on replacing a mast.) P.S.S. when is the Typhoon emerging from the drydock? im very anxious to see the results :salute:Yamato_NF |
snorkel? LOL.
nuclear powered submarines do not have snorkels, as far as i know. check the sensor.dat`s and the ZULU equipment and UPC files.besides, adding a working snorkel would not do any good, since the extensibles of the nuclear boats are linked to a snorkel-node. just listen to the engine sound changing from electric to diesel with the radar extended. therefore, you just need to add a proper model to the basic node and add the shipwake.
