Or perhaps a hat.

Or better yet, a deceptively simple-looking piece of plastic:

Not much good from across the room.

since I spend a lot of time in my house, I'm never too far away from my trench knife. (it's a replica, don't worry, I wouldn't bother getting bloodstains on a 92 year old weapon)

FK, you said you do Kempo/Kenpo/however you spell it?
my grandfather is an (unofficial) instructor and somewhere in the black belt range, in the northwestern Illinois area. It sounds like the martial art has a very tight-knit group (as it should be) but since I took relatively informal classes at the local park district center (before moving on to some more effective fighting methods a-la USMC) this is probably just an outsider-looking-in thing

What thrown? I mean stabbed! and no less

I'm sure it hurts a lot being stabbed by a butter knife than other kind of combat swords or knives. :hmmm:

especially when the several first attempts didn't succeed as planned . . .

Please specify clearly, Master of what?

I can assure you that in reading the listed posts and various threads I found nothing to suggest that this should be the case, are punctuation and spellchecks a normal requirement? I would be here longer than is needed. Further investigation is warranted, I wish to know if it is true using ones own words I am under obligation to type any different, :o I have read the forum rules. :hmmm:

I understood exactly what you meant. I was just adding my own twist on the concept.

Frau Kaleun has proven in a very short time to be a master of witty debate, verbal wrestling and advanced put-down. Your response to my comments was rambling and incoherent to myself, and obviously from your quoted response to another post, to others as well. My response was to point out that if you're going to try to sound important by using a lot of big words you should at least get the small ones right. It has nothing to do with forum rules or "contractual obligations"; it has everything to do with common sense.

Nothing wrong with any of that, but if you're going to play word games you should expect others to play also.

No, I do not agree. Common sense is a basic, it is sometimes so basic that I am not familiar with certain terms. I do not play, my way of thinking is beyond. I think different, let me explain, I shall simplify : If you were walking past an old lady waiting public transport, to wit Bus/coach and she says "excuse me, do you know what time it is" ? Knowing your way of thinking and assuming you were wearing a watch, (that was not broken and set at the correct time, in your locus zone) you would most likely answer her request kindly and correctly. But I think differently, to the same question I would reply, "yes I do. It is an abstract fundamental concept, a category of sense, if you will, involving the recognition of an idea of before and after, past, present and future.. regarded theoretically as having a beginning and an end, as something limited by the duration of the external universe, as contrasted with eternity. :yep: However, not withstanding here-tofore, I surmise that your original misconstrued query relates not to the metaphyscial concept of time per say, but rather to its mode of computing, ie its reckoning, in the chronographical sense." at this juncture I would offer some advice to help her "specifically your question could be precise as follows... A-hem (Am I in possession of knowledge relating to the present particular hour of the day and, If relevant, the fraction thereof, as reckoned in this given latitude? ) :hmmm:

There is a word for that sort of behavior. I don't use that kind of language in public.
