I agree that it was not a good question, but if she was willing to run for VP, 10 minutes worth of research on supreme court decisions could have saved her a lotta grief. She should have known that running on the GOP ticket someone might ask her that question. By being able to answer that question more completely, with a few more non-abortion examples, she could have still made her talking point about Roe v Wade. But by portraying herself as only knowing Roe v Wade, she came off as an uneducated person with regards to Supreme Court decisions and one only interested in abortion issues. But I agree, it was not a appropriate question to ask a VP. There are only two questions that are needed to be asked to a VP candidate 1. Do you know the number of the White House Physician? 2. Is your black suit pressed? :har: :D |
I thought this was a Bachman thread?
I thought I'd look some stuff up on her: http://bachmann.house.gov/Biography/ |

Understandable given the MSM's hostility for Republicans but still not very Presidential. Then like Neal says there's the whole quitting thing. Now an Alaskan friend of mine tells me the behind the scenes reason for the resignation was the politically motivated lawsuits being continually being brought against her getting in the way of performing her duties as Governor but I don't know if that is a really valid argument for someone running for the 2nd highest office in the land. She ought to have been able to eat that pressure and ask for more imo. |
