How about Command Aces of the Deep II ? The AOD series still beats SH 3 & 4 for recreating the atmosphere of sweaty fear on a WW2 U-boat/ sub, IMHO .

As SH3 was without an additional name such as Wolves of the Atlantic for SH4 I would leave it just Silent Hunter 5.
