you fill up the crew with people in base,
save
reload
repeat

Yes but this sub isn't campaign, only war patrol. War patrol with no crew = kaput.

first, unload your U-class boat from the game
then
download the playable North CArolina and copy the UPCCrewData folder into the UPCdata folder for your U-class. you should have a full crew in sungle missions, and when i get the campaign working in RFB, it will have a mostly full load

I've been messing around with the UPC files to make most of it english, so its not Oei-U
its U-class, i have yet to sort out the compartments,
for now, i have the upc files sorted out, but it crashes when i try to pick Asiatic Fleet, and when i try to start from pearl, almost there.

Yeah. I've gotten to where it crashed on selecting the fleet with one config and after the briefing letter on another.

now, i have to find out how many reserve torpedoes it had, because i have 4 tubes, and no reserves

I have this mod and want to enable it again trouble is the readme file is in russian, i know before using this mod you have to edit a file for it to work. Do you have the instructions in english?
