SH3 natch. SH2 was great at the time, so was Silent Service, but the graphics improvements since then would make them hard to play now.

Nothing has beaten the depth and enjoyment I have experienced in SH3 yet... Sh4 looks pretty but... it just doesn't have what SH3 has imo.

I'm a newbie to sub simming, so given whats on the list, its either AoD or SHIII.

SHIII + GWX of course is my favorite. Nothing tops the feeling I first felt when I was trying to sneak up on a convoy in shallow waters, and I heard that dreaded ping.
