Beats me, i have to be honest, i don't like this boat. Ill take my IXC over this boat anyday of the week.

I do not like being depth charged in an IXD2.. i do not like it. at all. I do not have the brass it takes to be serious about this boat.

i tried being DC'ed in 45 with a IXD2:huh: scary stuff
i had just attacked a task force (got the carrier..YaY:D) then hell broke loose

though it was scary as hell when one of them was making a pass:dead:
i was sitting and almost going insane while saying "im gonna die, im gonna die, im gonna die"

I like the D2. I'm naming mine R2/D2. It is a big boat. Probably the coolest one I have used.:up:

My preference is the IXC/40 because of the tinsy bit of extra fuel it gets, but yah, generally speaking i agree with you.

Ducimus has made me a D2 fan since asking me to do the 1943 route around Africa. She is big and fat. Come on, merchants had to be shaking in their boots when this baby surfaced next to them:yep:
