Hi guys,
Now you are talking about machines and graphics,I actually use the Geforce 7950 GX2. Could you suggest me wich are the best drivers for its max.performance?

Thanks a lot.

I use the stock nVidia 93.71 drivers with my 7950GX2 and I'm averaging about 115FPS.

no glitches, artefacts.........nothing but smooth sailing!

I just upgraded from a Ge Force FX5200 to a Ge Force 6200 (I know it isn't much of an upgrade, but it's all my computer can take) Next to be upgraded in the new year will be Memory, from 768Mb to 2.5 Gb.

If my Finance will let me I might get a new computer after we get married in April! Hope she lets me!:yep: I guess i better start earning the browne points!!

Aye been using the 93.71 drivers as well with my SLI'd 7900gtxs. Have been considering updating to the beta drivers though as they are out. If I end up trying it I'll let you know how they compare performance wise with SH3 and the old drivers.

Can I have the considered opinion of the experts in here? How will my system run SH4??

Dell 5150 with
Pentium D 820 2.8 GHZ
1 GB ram
ATI 1300pro.

I ordered and received the system this fall, and the bundle came with on board video. This was fine with all my games, which were six years old. It sucked when I first installed SH3, and I quickly realized I needed a video card. I bought the 1300pro because it was not too expensive. I guess I am wondering how good a card it is??

For SH3 that card should do you alright. At the time that card came out it was at the high end of the entry-level video cards. The card was released late 2005 I think and as a reference SH3 was released March 2005. From the couple reviews that I glanced at about it, it seemed to do fine in Doom 3 and Farcry tests, both which are more strenous(sp) graphically than SH3. SH4 is sort of up in the air still, but since it is based on the same engine as SH3, you should be alright there as well.

As a note: Any of the newer games though, say Oblivion or FSX, will not be able to run at full potential on that card.

EDIT: I would recommend some additional memory. Another gig. Memory can be had for fairly cheap and is worth it.
