I like Joe Jackson. Joe does his own thing and marches to the beat of his own drum. This song Right and Wrong speaks to political upheaveaval back in the Reagan Era. Jackson wrote Right and wrong after hearing a speech made by Reagan in March 1985 where he defended the United States' involvement in the Nicaraguan Revolution. It seems just as appropriate and relevant today as it did then

Joe was into the music of Cab Calloway and Louis Jordan, so he called his drummer friend, Larry Tolfree, who was a Buddy Rich and big-band fanatic, and hired three horns and a keyboardist. With this lineup, Joe went to work.

Pure genius putting the bass and drums in the forefront with a sultry and seductive bass line and simple and clean arrangement and interweave of the drumming with the Bass line.

So do I :D
Bought the "Steppin' out" album, heard the "Body and soul", then got the "Jumpin' Jive" jazz one, "Look Sharp" a.s.o.
The Body and Soul 'The verdict' was recorded in a church, friend and me built a Klipsch horn just to hear this properly (as then did the neighbours).
