I can't see spending one torpedo on something that small and worthless, let alone two.

Well, I suppose it depends on how long your patrol has lasted without sighting anything better!:yeah:

I sank a couple off the English coast in a type II a few careers ago. Between bad weather and bad luck I couldn't find anything else to shoot at. :damn:

You might need to download a torpedo damage mod. Few destroyers could take more than one torpedo hit, let alone something as tiny as a trawler.

You are right, they usually go down by 1 hit.
In this case , the trawler spotted the incoming torpedo and took evasive action. So the torpedo hit her exactly at the propeler.

In any case what do you mean by torpedo damage mod?
I use the "Torpedo damage final" mod. I think this is eye candy only.
