I've been playing with nHancer for a couple hours and can not get those lights to glow propperly.

I did get the in game graphics looking better though.

NVIDIA inspector

Hello, apparantly the nHancer tool has not been updated to work with the more recent nVidia Drivers ( or atleast this was the case). If your graphics card drivers are recent versions there is another utility : 'NVIDIA inspector', which allows the same level of tweaking. I Hope this is helpful to some people.

The inner dial is a knots-scale, but it must be the 0 - 10 degree scale.

...........................

Question:

I am looking for the manual. Is there a manual (for the dials) in work or published?

DoveEgg 09-15-11 06:30 PM

I was about to make the same bug reports as the poster above me. Is this mod still being worked on? It'd be nice to tie up these loose strings. I tried trouble shooting these problems myself, but I don't have the Goblin Editor / Hex Editing skills.

ETsd4 09-15-11 09:19 PM

I am also interested to fix these bugs, because i have seen, the bugs exists also in the type VII-C u-boat.
Maybe we can do it together.
First step should be to compare
- this mod ( http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=170421 )
and
- this mod (Interior working dials: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...ighlight=dials)

with steelviking's Interior Mod .

Or just pm these guys (
lucagaeta and BIGREG)?!

This mod should be used even when you don't have NVidia graphics, correct?

Thanks!

The fix is for NViada graphics. You can use this fix with any video chipset.
When SteelViking did the light settings, he did it specificly for his Radeon video shipset.

Sorry, I should have given more information.

I believe the Compass Ross is in this file:

\data\Objects\Sensors\NSS_Uboat_Senzors.dds

I'm using a laptop with AMD Radeon HD3200 IGP and I can see the improvement from the base mod to the NVidia graphics fix (using Irfanview). I suspect all users should install the fix.

If your Interior Light are rendering correctly then you dont need the change I posted.

But if you want to check it out, give it a try.

Regards!

I guess it's really a matter of personal prefference.:03:

Do a Screen Capture of interior Light bulb.
Then Enable my change.
Do another Screen Capture of the Same Interior Light Bulb.
Compare and make a decission.:salute:
