sabretwo, I fear you are right. RR said it above in a different way, but Tomi's work is really "too good for SH4." Meaning that the game doesn't have the "hooks" to really use the new spaces, it's more like a stunning museum exhibit.

Gotta love the attention to detail, though, it's simply amazing work.

As for sleeping right behind the engines, I can't say; but I was a radioman on a destroyer off the coast of Vietnam, and our quarters were right next to the barbette of the aft twin-5" turret. There was more than one night when I drifted off to sleep to the sound of others shouting and those guns going off right above our quarters every fifteen seconds or so. It's not only possible to get used to the sounds, it's easy.

Will we see an engineer or two manning this compartment?

Stellt euch vor an der Flansch unten ist eine Weiße Markierung die bei der Fahrt sich immer um die Ahse dreht, ich denke ein Schöner Effekt im Halbdunklen etwas Rotbraunen Licht.
Und wenn ihr durch den Gang geht hört ihr immer das Klappern der Fußbodenplatten
Die wohl nie richtig aufliegen und dazu das hämmern der Diesel.
Mahl sehen was DD draus macht!!

Just imagine at the bottom flange is a way marker for the ride is always revolves around the axis, I think a nice little effect in the semi-light reddish brown.
And if it goes through the course you always hear the clatter of the floor plates
The never properly published and so, the diesel hammer.
We will see what makes DD abaut this effekts!
