Who can delay longer, until people forget there ever was a referendum?
Is it delayed because of the enduring power struggle, or is the delay the reason for the power struggle? Or is the struggle the reason (or pretext) for the EU, for the delay?
Both sides are not exactly productive in that matter :hmmm:

MEPs have voted to urge the EU not to open the next phase of Brexit talks unless there is a "major breakthrough".
A motion in the European Parliament to back a delay in any decision over trade discussions was backed by 557 MEPs, with 92 against and 29 abstentions.

Not that the MEP's have any say in negotiations but this could actually be a way forward.

Both sides walk away and have a rethink, then return if and only when at least one side has something tangible to offer.
