PMQ'S

May Vs Corbyn

Corbyn let me give you some more advice, never attack May and hand over ammunition she can throw back in your face. You do that and the dotty old bag is going to win while you look silly. One thing old Corbyn did well on was to use the Chancellor's own words and throw them back at him and May, apart from that once again that dotty old bag got the better of old Jezza.

Score
May 2 Corbyn 1

Looks like the DUP is going to put a knife in the government's back!

The Government is facing a symbolic defeat on public sector pay, a day after scrapping the seven-year cap on pay rises.
According to Sky sources, the Democratic Unionist Party is planning to vote with Labour during a House of Commons debate on NHS pay on Wednesday afternoon.

The first rumble in the Tory/DUP jungle and this will not be the last that's for sure. :03:

Aye, May is currently skating on extremely thin ice.

Pound jumps as Bank of England hints at rate rise.

The Bank of England has said that higher inflation and a pick up in growth could lead to a rate hike in "the coming months".
Members of the Bank's nine-strong Monetary Policy Committee voted 7-2 to keep interest rates on hold at 0.25%
They still voted to keep it down though!!

STEED 09-14-17 03:23 PM

^What pick up?...recent reports say we are slowing down again and there could be a recession.

As for these hints that BS has been going on for near on a year now.

Money will always look after money. Sad but true.

Skybird 09-15-17 05:10 AM

Currency-wise, third world war has begun already years ago. That this still escapes so many people, is stunning. Dollar versus Euro versus Renminbi versus Rubel versus Pound versus centralbank-owned physical gold. Currencies get swung like weapons of war these days. Central banks are the new war ministries. Econimic Keynesian alchemists are the new Adolfs.

And I do not talk of war against cash money, which is another battle running. ( I fear in the medium term it already is deicded. Just see how much a major criminal like Kent Rogoff, who wants states to be equipped to totalitarian powers to plunder and steal, get celebrated and kneeled before. Like Keynes. That politicians ally with him, is clear, his gospel serves their interests of collecting more power, control and opportunity to plunder and hide their debt-making, but why the people still allow him to walk freely and elect people putting his calls for crime into action, is beyond me. )

^Not sure of the term WW3 Skybird, but Currency Wars I can buy. I read James Rickards books and his hopeful tune from his first book "Currency wars" has long passed in his second book "The Death of Money". I'm just about to start his third book "The Road to Ruin" and from what comments I have read about that one there seems to be no hope.

Not good enough, scrap it now and cut the dead wood away from the HOC.
