Why always side with scumbag terrorists? The issue is one of geopolitics. We need the destabilizing force of Israel in the Eastern Med and Western Middle East. An ascendant Turkey is showing itself to be a Bad Thing™. As the more traditional Easterners have outbred the more secular West, the demographics have changed, and I fear that Turkey is going to be a powerful, Islamist state. This is bad. Period.

If they get truly powerful, and Europe starts having problems, will the Poles come down and save civilization again? I hope so.
LOL, i just watched from Finnish news a story of the Dutch election, these scarfed muslim women said that they were told in the mosque to vote for the socialists.:haha:

Yeah, because what we really need on earth is another medieval, repressive Islamic state that exists solely on the hand-outs from people who have a clue what "work" means.

Then they can have yet more dirt and rocks. Israelis turn it into civilization, and "Palestinians" (a historical non-entity as a unique group) will use the dirt to bury women, and the rocks to stone them to death for some idiotic crime against chastity.

Iran pushing is less about Israel than it is about the perceived weakness of the current US Administration.

US open hand once again meets Iranian closed fist.

I should add that there is also an Iran vs Turkey element going on here.

I really doubt they were told to vote for the Socialist Party (the only real socialists, there are other (extreme) leftist parties, but these aren't socialists). The SP is for example against immigration from non-warzone countries, against burqas etc.

I'm surprised this has not caused more of a flap.

Reuters and a Turkish Newspaper published photos of IDF commandos being subdued during the boarding of the Marmara where weapons and blood were cropped out of the photos.


If Israel had done this, the Blogosphere would be all over it, but I guess its ok when it is done to help out the helpless "Peace Activists"..:rolleyes:

IIRC any "place of worship" that tries to endorse a candidate or party in an election runs the risk of losing its tax exempt status in the USA.
