Now I have to agree with this one.
I'm always been a strong supporter of the franchize and I loved SHIII from square one. I bought SHIV on the day it was released, but after two months of waiting I, not only as a customer, but also as a fan and an admirer, feel LET DOWN by the developers.

We gave you the money worth a whole game, and got half a game in return.
You still owe us half a game as far as I am concerned.

Haven't bought it yet, due to the reviews.
Once Neal's happy however.......

I still haven't bought this game, still waiting to see what the next patch will fix.

Fix the damn game!

sphericus 05-19-07 06:26 AM

These errors definately need to be resolved sometime in the near future if the game is going to be playable on a consistant level.

Not to mention for the reputation of the franchise.

That´s my opinion too. SH4 is just plain beautiful. Making it completely playable incl. Chronometer fix, AI fix and everything that is mentioned here would be a show of dedication and professionalism and nonetheless respect to the customers.

still crashes!

Hello Fellow Skippers I feel another patch is VERY well needed I still have crashes for example while my sub is underwater I put up my observation periscope or attack periscope and it kicks me out into windows! that is becoming very annoying however Ubisoft has managed to get rid of that "invisible monolith" thank goodness for that. but I feel strongly that another patch is needed anyone else have underwater game crashes as well? I'd hate to be the only one

Thanks all and good hunting!

To the Devs-

It is because of the condition of the game that I have yet to purchase your product.

I bought SH1 through 3. I regretted 3, but you pulled the fat out of the fire at the last possible minute.

Do this, and I will gurantee you at least one more copy sold.

To Ubisoft- I know dozens, if not hundereds who feel the same way I do. If you believe the SH franchise to be a "poor seller", then you need only look into the mirror for the culprit. To rush this fine team of devs to a premature release for a quick buck will never recoup all the costs and risks you took.

Allow the team to develop this last patch, and reap the rewards of increased sales, once you use this outlet (subsim.com) as a massive staging point for an announcement for the third patch.

Have a good day-

the ever lurking Fishie

Everything else we pay for we expect to work 100%, cars, washers & dryers, etc.
Why should a computer simulation be any different? If this were my new car I
guarentee it would go back to the dealer. Please fix it.

jpfx 05-19-07 06:44 AM

please continue to release fixes and gameplay improvements.
