Apparently some Democrats do. But then you never know what their reasons are, I mean it’s only an indictment, Menendez still hasn’t been proven guilty of anything. Most likely Democrats already had someone lined up to take Menendez place months ago and are just trying to force him out. Seems to be a pattern with Democrats, business as usual. :haha:

I agree, which is why I said good to Melendez being indicted. What I don't agree with is Trump's "swamp draining." Good idea but he only wanted to replace that swamp with his own cesspool of sycophants.

There are so many ways for a US Senator to get rich via trading stocks and options based on inside knowledge. These guys know in advance which legislation and funding will pass Congress, then know which companies will benefit. They can trade on that knowledge and make millions of $$$.

So many of them actively do this and the other side never makes it an issue because both sides do it.

Just look at what they were worth when they first started compare that with what they get paid and what they’re now worth now.

Inflation doesn’t bother them one bit.

So why then back the MAGA clowns in the House, and Trump, who want to trash the economy that is recovering under Biden's policies? Leave the culture war out of it and what do you end up with?

I would say that Ron DeSantis made a very big strategic mistake in running for the 2024 primary. He is only 45 years old. He should have waited till 2028. By then Trump would be history one way or another. And if the Democrat candidate were to win in 2024 that would be 8 years for the blue team. He would have had 4 more years of as fairly successful Governor and would have had a very clear path to the White House. And if he had endorsed Trump for the 2024 primary he would have had all those Trump supporters on his side.

Decades of the FED injecting trillions of dollars of fiat currency into the economy devaluing the dollar which in turn raised prices, all with the blessings of congress who appear incapable of developing a national budget and overseeing the FED. Until the spending of magic money is stopped the economy will be trashed again using the same playbook. Borrow cheap money, increased deficit spending, inflation, next comes the fantasy of soft landings and party fanboys thumping their chests declaring victory, 2 trillion in debt, panic rate hikes, and crash. Wash, rinse, repeat.
