Epic CW and not an easy song to emulate.

^ I did love this performance, Jim and was speechless when I first saw this. I especially liked Dani Harrison, George's son smiling in approval as he accompanied the performers on his acoustic guitar. :)
Another great rendition of this song is performed by none other than George Harrison himself and accompanied by Eric Clapton, Phil Collins, Ringo Star, Elton John and other notables. This was from the Prince's Trust Concert. Certainly, live performances at their best and the way it was meant to be. The guitar interplay between George Harrison and Eric Clapton is incredible. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8rVI7AMKiY ~Enjoy~ Rest in Peace, George. |
Yeah, so many great songs, this being one of my favourites.

^ I think they were all great in the Princes trust series but the 1986 Princes Trust concert was also very special. They all looked like they were having a great time and enjoying each other.
Phil Collins being his usual zany self and playing that " bloody song " again. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTEzWaiOFYI Who can forget Tina Turner and Eric Clapton on " Tearing us apart ? " https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hzku-PGzx_I Both of these performances were from the 1986 Prince's Trust Concert. What a fantastic line up of musical artists and geniuses. The 80's were such a great time for " real " music |
TBH my all time favourite star has always been Bowie but I wasn't impressed with performance.
