Had a funny incident with that song. When I was in school we had music classes we had to attend to. I never really liked that and was usually bored beyond comprehension. One day we did something about one song and got song books for that. Bored as I was I didn't pay much attention to the teacher and browsed the song book instead when I suddenly stumbled about that song. Well the irony is that Jude is the German word for Jew. So at the first glance the title of the song was "Hey Jew" for me which made my jaw drop to the floor (well I'm German :03:). I was totally flabbergasted that a song with such a title could be found in a songbook handed out to German pupils after WWII...until I realised that it had an English text and was written by Paul McCartney....:oops:
Well, at least I was awake after that again.:D |
