Emma, my local Labour MP knocked on my door yesterday and the wife answered it. When asked if she (the wife) voted Labour and would she be doing likewise in the forthcoming election, the wife answered "I'm not prepared to say".
The wife told me Emmas face was a real picture, the look of puzzlement was very apparent. She obviously knew who's door she was knocking on. |
Mate of mind said you got to vote, excuse me as posted here I have given my reasons why i find i'm in a situation where i just can not vote. It has happen in the past and will again some point in the future. I will not vote Tory they are vile, Labour has a pig for a leader and as posted here a former Labour MP did sweet FA for my hospital sorry no he will not get my vote and the LibDems well still waiting for them to say sorry to me, as for the Greens no thanks.
I know of a few others like me who feel they can not vote for their candidates for a number of reasons. I would rather vote but how the heck can i when i'm presented with a load of rubbish. And on a personal note i have got other things on my mind that are more important than placing a cross on a ballot paper. |

First thing that came to mind after reading the article was....."Okay then Mr. McDonnell, how about you lead by example and make a simple token gesture by raising access to MP's pensions to the same as that of the voters state pensions"?

I want to see change at Westminster radical change to get that lot in the HoC working for us and that will only happen if the voter wakes up and that will never happen, so we are boned. A good example from the film NETWORK Yea its that famous scene.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WINDtlPXmmE |

Theresa May meeting a real person for a change instead of those televised stage managed one's she's so fond of, I see she's demonstrating all the leadership qualities which Jeremy Corbyn lacks, if that's the best she can do those europeam politicos are going to have her for breakfast. :haha: |

Labour manifesto: Extra £48.6bn in tax revenue to fund pledges
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election-2017-39930865 Whilst I agree with most of the content I can't fathom out how it would be paid for. Now I await the Tory manifesto. Both should make good toilet reading. |

Manifesto= If, Maybe, Possible, Looking into, Not possible now, Put on the back burner. Sales pitch to the party faithful and nothing more. |

I can no longer see this happening. |
^ I should imagine Mrs May would like nothing better.
