I also realize European nations like the U.K. and Germany have the exact same circus as we do. The only difference that unlike European media, it’s not in our news cycle because nobody over here really gives a rats arse about your politics. But let’s face it if Europe was so perfect the shining beacon on the hill. The U.S. wouldn’t be have to place its efforts time and economy to quell another European war AGAIN.

This is why I try very hard not to point fingers at you the way you do things. 'cause I shouldn't be throwing stones......

Even the little country Denmark has become a banana republic.

What's on peoples mines these days is whether we should forbid burning the Holy Quran or not. The government is trying to get a majority to create a law so it would be forbidden.

Should have stopped being that years ago imho.

The EU in particular have been trying to punch above their weight for quite a few years now.

The problem with that is you just can’t [keep] these two apart by yourself and would have been demanding our involvement AGAIN. :yep:

A Proud Boy who led the US Capitol riot by smashing his way into the complex with a police shield before he filmed himself puffing a celebratory cigar has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Dominic Pezzola, a 46-year-old former US Marine, fought with officers during the raid on Congress on 6 January 2021.

He was convicted of assaulting police and obstructing an official proceeding.

Another Proud Boy, Ethan Nordean, faces sentencing on a more serious seditious conspiracy charge on Friday.

"Pezzola's wife testified that she hoped the judge would be lenient but didn't excuse his actions, "He's a ****ing idiot," she told the court. She had previously testified that he geared up for his assault on the Capitol on J6 by "getting drunk and watching Fox News."

I wonder if an American conservative can now get political asylum abroad? :D

Read an article earlier which stated one of the Proud Boys wept in front of the judge before sentencing and after the judge announced said sentence and left the courtroom the individual suddenly grew a pair as if by magic and shouted "TRUMP WON" :nope:

This story belongs in one of our other thread(which I can't find)

It's a sad story

One officer standing in front of her car is seen in the video released on Friday firing directly towards her as she appears to drive in his direction.

The video shows the two officers speaking with Ms Young for about one minute before the shot is fired.

Sorry Markus. The 5 'levels of force include: 1: an an officers presence: 2: voice command;3: baton: 4: chemicle spray(pepper or tear gas) and if all else fails, 5: use of the firearm. The video clearly depicts the lady's utter disregard for the officer's presence, voice command incl. a polite "please"(refusal to obey a lawful command) and, as she moves her vehicle forward ie: turning her vehicle into a deadly weapon, the 2nd officer, standing in front, may, at his discretion use his own firearem to prevent harm to himself and innocent shoppers. That she was was black(ie: 'playing the race card'), pregnant and female will undoubtedly play into the official considerations of the matter. I've been in this position more than once myself incl. using my '06 Corolla as a defensive weapon; and would at least have stepped aside and shot out a tire as the vehicle passed me by(considerably reducing the paperwork??!)...but that is any officers' own percieved discretion which is always subject to official 'Monday-morning quarter-backing'.
