I never used the command either, I just assumed it did the same as F12 and never bothered to try it.

There is only one thing I find strange on this image.

The flag of the of the ship. It's either British or Australian (didn't get a good look).

So the question is, what is Bernard doing on an enemy boat. Maybe the Luftwaffe straped him to one of their planes and droped him near an enemy convoy to try and bring chaos! :yep:

I thought about changing the flag, but figured if Bernard is going to screw up he's gonna do it 110%! :lol:

Yes it is an Australian Merchant flag. It became the offical mechant navy flag in 1954, but had been in use from 1901. For more info have a look here.

To my horror, I realized Bernard had infected my poor u-boat!

Luckily and incredibly, when I afterwards loaded up SH3 with SH3 Commander, I get this message: "Bernhard has been transferred to another u-boat". Can you believe my luck?

Neither could I, and it was too good to last. When I started up my next career and told SH3 Commander to make me crew names, I got this:

Will I never have peace? I feel like the victim of a disaster watching footage from the tragedy be played over and over again over a period of years. I try to forget and put it behind me, and BOOM! Tragedy on TV again! Only it's Bernard instead of the WTC or an earthquake or what-the-Heck-not!

Leave me be already! Haunt me no more:o!

PS: Is it safe to let Bernard go? Or will it leave a curse on my submarine?

Amazing that the boat survived through 1944 and 1945. Also, it appears Otto Kretschmer had a long-lost cousin. Who knew?
