Hello,
just bought SH5 on sale at EBgames... I have SH3 from 2004 and SH4 but haven't played in a while (though recently installed SH4 on my new computer. Looking forward to installing SH5 tonight but feeling a little overwhelmed by all the mods available... I'd characterize myself as a "lazy Kaleun" as I'm not into doing the targeting manually... isn't that what I have officers for? ;) Cheers, C_G |

Thank you kindly :)
I've got to agree with Welshguy. The mods are incredible! What TDW and others have done is just amazing... I did not consider getting SH5 until I saw how much has been done to improve the stock game. :yeah: |
Glad to be here
Very thankful for this page, I have to admit I've only been a casual player of SH3 and 4, but I've enjoyed them a lot, now I had to try SH5 and hope it's better than some reviews say, I'm very thankful to be on this website and hopefuly I won't be as lost as I felt with the previous sims.
Very best wishes everyone! oops, forgot to mention, I'm from Mexico. |

Greetings All
My Name is Nicholas (63 years old) and my handle "Vonsecond" is just because of my lack of imagination. I have always loved sub games and have played them for many years. The intense planning and slow development coupled with moments of extreme terror seem to emulate my life in many ways.
My Father was a Damage Control Officer aboard a United States Tanker during WW2 and was torpedoed by a German U Boat. The Torpedo hit 10 meters aft of the port bow and although full of aviation fuel the tanker was saved by the actions of the damage control crew. The ship made it back to port with a 3 meter hole in the bow. I have often wondered why there was no second torpedo but as we all know on board supplies are short and small tankers usually go up with a single fish. |
I'm The Illinois Enema Bandit :arrgh!:

Welcome to you both :sunny:
