Well that's a new one: a 'tilde' ( or ~; ) on an 'A'?!" :Kaleun_Wink:IT seems: A tilde above a letter indicates nasalization, e.g. [ã], [ṽ].
A tilde superimposed onto the middle of a letter indicates velarization or pharyngealization; A tilde below a letter indicates laryngealisation, e.g. Good lord! if I Nasalize.. then velarize and then Pharyngelize too rapidly at my age... I'll look like I've got hiccups! :arrgh!: :know: :O:

Red Wine with fish! :o

You work for Spectre? :hmmm:

Rhodes 03-31-15 04:50 PM

^ :haha:! I do remember that scene, but yes, I drink red wine with fish. You will not drink white wine with a fine cod dish! And red wine is far better to the digestion and health that white wine.

Made me remember some words from a chef.

It was during my education for Industry electrician. During one of my break, we sat in the cafe and heard the chef, to teach his students next door.

Here's what he said.

What kind of wine goes with Fish?
We could hear several of his students respond almost unanimous

Here's what he said

wrong ... It is what the customer orders.

PS/ You don't drink white wine with fish & chips and you don't drink red wine either: you 'ave a nice strong cup of TEA!

Rhodes 04-01-15 12:00 PM

TEA is for developing film, not to drink. TEA as triethanolamine+ascorbic or erythorbic acid and phenidone.
Heat to 200 F til dissolved. TEA will darken.
dilute 1+50 with water and develop HP5+ 8 or 9 minutes at 20º C.:know:

Tea with fish & chips?!? Good lord, you Brits will go to any depths to ruin a meal. The only proper beverage is a good, dark ale. No wonder you lost the colonies... :haha:
