All party's have failed to deal with the small number of hardcore lazy sods who are proud at all the money they get living it up on benefits. Its about time they had there money stopped and put on food stamps if they refuse to look for work.

Now those who are making the effort to look for work and jumping though hoops following all the rules set down that is a different matter. You follow the rules and make the effort then they should be allowed to keep their benefits. If you cut their benefits they have nothing to loose by sticking two fingers up and saying screw you *. This is the wrong approach to those who are making the effort in these rotten hard times we live in now.


As for the Big society that was a load of tosh right from the start.

I see they are considering proposals to attack housing benefit and family allowance for people with three kids or more.

It has got to the stage now that your government is making Irish politicians seem quite close to sensible on the scale of sheer idiocy.
It has come to something when Britain has overtaken the banana republic on the table of stupidness.

STEED, isn't it exactly those who are making the effort that are the ones being targetted, his announcements yesterday only illustrates further that this is just dumb ideology and knee jerk sound bites Cameron is pushing instead of anything even remotely resembling rational thought and policy.
