I'm making them white. Well, not "white" exactly... but the same colour as the rest of the text e.g. the Port/Stb text.

Great. I'm sure that will satisfy most of us, the ever complainers.

Amazing! You've included a much better version of the Zikuwi, that we know from U-Jagd! :D I like it much more than the previous one, that left almost no space in the scope view. Good news, indeed.

I've read through the entire thread, and I notice some screenshots have a Nomograph, others do not, and I've not been able to get a clear determination in the actual posts on if this mod actually does include a Nomograph or not? (some people wanted one, some didn't, some wanted draggable, some wanted horizontal, some wanted vertical, some wanted one that makes you cookies and milk before bed, some wanted one that does the cookies and milk but in drag, etc).

I know you mentioned putting one in, but that was before all the conversation about what type and before the issue with your father. The only talk I've seen since then is about GWX2 compatible, and light/dark, etc.

Also, if it doesn't have a Nomograph, how hard would it be to install one? Just the plain old non-draggable one like GWX has. I'm very dependant on the Nomograph, in both SHIII and SHIV, so to not have one is a bit of a deal breaker for me personally (no offense, it's just something I'm curious about before I download and install).

If I could just mention, not asking for a variant release. Thinking that would be something OLC or modders would have to 'support' so to say, opening up a new batch of questions from users. You probably don't want that headache. Now having said that if there was such a thing I'd probably be all over it. Test it, help with it etc. I could even host it on my filefront page.

For guys into manual targeting this mod is outstanding. And I wouldn't think to change any of that away from this mod. I don't have the patience for manual targeting, and so I don't take advantage of the tools.

Looks awesome, cant wait for the release of 1.1.6. When when?

Oh, by the way, I was wondering: I'm a pure keyboard guy (partly because mouse lags badly in some views). Is there a default key to bring up the TDC (i.e. to switch auto on/off). If no, I guess it could be done easily with setkeys. However, what is the *exact* name of the action I need to assign? I'm confused with that other button that locks the TDC ...

GWX2 includes a nomograph (which OLC GUI does not remove).

I'm thinking of replacing it with a higher resolution one though. :hmm:

Unfortunately the TDC switch in the GUI is mouse only. There's no way to get a KB shortcut to do it (even though it should work in theory, it just doesn't in practice).

If you do assign a KB shortcut to the TDC switch then it will toggle the TDC auto update but it will not show/hide the panel with the firing solution.

Not sure what you are asking for here, mate.

Awesome then, installing mod now.

From all the different screenshots I couldn't tell if it got removed or not (especially since you do change some other aspects of the Navigation map), and I use it for so many different things in SHIII and SHIV that I'd almost be more comfortable not having a periscope then not having a Nomograph. ;)

Ah, that's too bad. I guess you can't change that within OLC? (Possibly by assigning the TDC toggle button to *your* TDC button, or use any other key...)

Running OCL 1.1 with black version.

The 1st post of the thread is kept up to date with the latest version (currently 1.1.5 for GWX2, 1.1.4 for Stock - also 1.1.4 for GWX can be found in the Archived folder of my FF page).

Sry thats what i meant 1.1.5 i have, so im updated just need to wait for 1.1.6

There's no way to do it - or certainly no way I know of. When I said it should work in theory that was my memory playing tricks. I remember the problem clearly now: there is no command in the commands file for the show/hide panel (it is a hard-coded feature) to which one can attach a KB shortcut.

That button is actually the button that used to switch between the rudder and the heading (or between the shallow and deep depths... one of those three buttons) and you can't assign a KB shortcut to any of those.

If I'm wrong and you know how to do that, let me know :)

snwcrsh 01-22-08 11:16 AM

Unfortunately I do not. However, it's not too bad because I enter all TDC data on the Nav screen anyhow because the mouselag prevents exact inputs in the periscope view (it barely works for the range/aob finder).
