An epic duet from 2 accomplished voices. Martina Mcbride and Pat Benatar. Pat Benatar along with Ann Wilson of Heart are largely the gold standard of vocalists with which others are compared. This clip is from an episode of CMT Crossroads. Amazingly, Pat Benatar hasn't lost anything in her quality of voice or looks or missed a beat in the intervening years since her initial debut decades ago. ^ Talk about an epic performance. :up: I remember seeing this when it first aired and was absolutely speechless. I had posted this same video a while ago but like everyone else, I could watch it over and over. For Heart's Ann and Nancy Wilson to perform a classic song in front of the originators and perform it so well is amazing. My only disappointment with Heart is that guitarist Nancy Wilson was never able to showcase her considerable vocal chops and abilities to a larger degree.


Here is Nancy Wilson and Heart. This clip and album features the considerable talents of drummer Denny Carmassi, Mark Andes on bass guitar and Howard Lees on lead guitar, Nancy Wilson on acoustic guitar and of course Ann Wilson on backing vocals. I don't think Heart ever had a better lineup of musicians and artists as when they made this album.
