Yesterday, I launched SH5 to find the issue above in the main menu. I couldn't exit it or anything, I could only exit the game.

Is there a way to fix this?

I donīt know if these are the issues you could have:

Do not put Dyn Environment mod (TWoS has his own tweaked version of Dyn Environment).

The order of your Gap's EcoMod is wrong.

If you use the Food mod you could have problems if you use External Cameras.

As an example, this is my list with TWoS 2.2.18:

New issue

I had just recently updated my TWoS game version to 2.2.19 and I resume my campaign, only for it to CTD every time. It just hangs around on a black screen for a while before it crashes.

The museum works fine, just the campaign isn't working.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

You need to deactivate first ALL your mods in JSGME.

Then apply 2.2.19 update.

And then, reactivate your mods.

I made it this morning, with a similar list of mods as yours, and all is working fine.

Yes, I did deactivate all of my mods. Do I need to do a complete reinstall?

I didn't need it. Try deactivating all your mods and rerun the update installer. Do you use the Stormy mod with TheBerbster instructions for TWoS? The Stormy mod in "pure form" isn't compatible with TWoS.

I will rerun the installer. And no, I do not use the Stormy DBSM mod with THBERBSTERS instructions. Could you possibly give me the link?

EDIT: I reran the updater and I made the Stormy DBSM mod compatible and it still crashes.
I will try another save game and see if the most recent one is corrupted or something.

EDIT #2: Nope, did not work. I made some changes in the OFEV, so maybe that is what is causing the crashes. I enabled the Snorkel on the VIIC and the VIIC/41. Will revert back to the original and try again.

I think it was the things that I changed in the OFEV that messed it up. It's all fixed now.

Just to report a small and (I guess) very well-known bug with smoke puffs in water. In most situations, it appears in certain proximity of a ship.
These smoke puffs are different in size, and can sometimes be faced even in SH5 Museum.

I have gap's SH5 EcoMod installed over TWOS 2.2.19, but hardly beleive his mod is somehow affecting this...

Hi Fitzcarraldo I test your soup of mods could you give me details on "Cameras without flicks" I love your soup I am never disappointed ... is it necessary to deactivate the camera while waiting for your precision ... because I know that "TWoS SM Interior_Food Stocks" poses problems thanks to you ...:up:

Hello there,
I am having the bug as per below:
1. Operating System, System spec?
Windows 10 x64 1909, system ROG G712LWS
2. Version of the game ? (DVD, Uplay download, Steam, other ?)
DVD
3. Confirm that your game is updated to official v1.2.0 version and that the vanilla game works without problems.
Fully updated stock game

4. If you use any non-TWoS custom mods, remove them, reinstall your game/TWoS completely according to install instruction, start new campaign and make sure that the issue still persist!
I dont use anything outside TWOS package, however I did reinstall few times already

5. Confirm that the Generic Patcher is correctly activated and the snapshot is successfully restored (Install instructions, step 2).

8. Make sure to provide as much details as possible when describing situation where problem/bug/CTD can be observed. What should we do in order to reproduce this issue?
I played this game before with this mod so I know what to expect but I admin I did not play this one in a year or so.

Anyway, I am doing training mission where I have merchant coming from east going to west and I am the boat will have nice 90deg firing solution.

Now whenever I use the stadimeter either via TDC dials or officer window and I take measure the distance to target that get set in TDC but all previous values that I may have entered such as speed and AOB get reset. This is very annoying especially when target is closer and you are doing final TDC update and then you find yourself you have to re-enter everything.

Quite annoying bug and I dont recall having this issues year ago. Is this new bug? I reinstalled everything and still I find the same issue.

I understand the range is not that important for firing solution especially if gyro is 0 but there will be cases where gyro will not be 0 and I will need range working.

I did some more testing around this and discovered the following:

After I input range I see the message in the message box that my navigator is trying to compute a firing solution. The input of range triggers that action.

once that happens if I go to my officer command and press button reset firing solution it restores all of my data keeping the range input as well.

9. Upload several screenshots and gamesaves on which problem can be observed.
I dont have any savegame as I did this in TDW Torpedo attack under historical missions. As for the screenshots nothing really to show other then TDC having AOB 0 and speed 0 when I set the range using stadimeter. The AOB and speed get back and range measurement is retained if I go to my officer and click reset solution button.

Hi NiceSub,

First of all, this is the example of a good report. I was able to quickly determent that nothing is wrong with game/mod installation which means that the problem must be in the procedure it self. :up::yep:

Regarding your problem, I think you're dong it wrong.
Make sure that your manual TDC input is off (red, like on the picture) while taking range measurements with stadimeter. Use manual input only to enter speed and AoB and then disable it again. :yep:

I tried it again and you are right. user error is the problem.
I discovered when I unlock TDC to make this happens:
I input AOB
I input speed
Now when I take range the AOB and speed get reset BUT when I lock TDC to make that button green all my inputs return so nothing is really lost.
