I'm a completely new fresh meat to this community. I knew this community existed years ago, just couldn't join it due to life... But now I decided to put my foot into the door and try it out.

I want to say hello to everyone, I really know this community is very reputational with a very friendly community. I can see over the years how this community has made a very unique bond, I hope to contribute and strengthen this bond some day as well.

Jeff from Virginia here. Originally joined the forum back in 2010, but haven't been here in a number of years. I recently renewed my interest in subsim and bought SH5 on Amazon. Figured I'd better get back on the forum for some great instruction, getting questions answered, and just general info.

Thanks everybody!

Good morning all, just a quick hello and thanks to the community here for such a great forum, without it I'd be somewhat lost.
My Father was in sub's in the RN before he spent the rest of his career in the MN in container shipping. For myself, I loved boats but going to war in one was out the question, so I joined the army and served as a para!
Just returned to the SH series after a long absence. I started in SH1, still remember the daunting experience of being in a tiny sub with the Japanese invasion force heading south on day 1.
Currently trying to get my head around TWOS in SH5. Looks great, guess I'll be hiding from the heat this summer in a dark room...when the wife is out lol.
Dreaming on an SH6....
