I think having the patch is important as it corrects a few of the bugs in GWX. If you need it you can download it from the link in my signature. To install it you need to extract it into C\Program Files\Ubisoft\SH3\MODS directory, disable all mods you're using and enable it with JSGME. After that you can enable any mod you like.

P.S. If you cannot d/l from the link I'm talking about PM me with your e-mail address and I'll send you the patch (assuming you want it of course:D )

Go into the ...\data\cfg\Basic.cfg file search for "Ammo_type"

Change the values under ammo_type for:

AP=
HE=
SS=

to the number of shells of each type you want.

Do this for both deck guns, I believe Ammo_type0 is the 150mm and Ammo_type1 is the 88mm.

The manual for this cites reference to pinups and one of the 2 authors being Tikigod (version1.0)

Does this mean it includes Tikigod's random pinup girls mod?

If not am I right in assuming that the "Random" mod can be installed after GWX with no adverse affect?

What is GWX and what is it for? How do d/l?
When I go to museum and click on Amrican u-boats the program shuts down and I and sent to desktop.

I already said to try the 2 additional patches for it

GWX is a freeware mod
Expansion pack if you like
Adds new flottilas and theatres of operation - Black sea and Indian Ocean
New ships and aircraft too

Have a read of the manual

Don't quote me on it but I think there is no problem at all in GWX with the pinup mod you're talking about

Don't quote me on it but I think there is no problem at all in GWX with the pinup mod you're talking about

There should be no conflict with GWX because it don't mess with the cfg :up:

Hi to all here :)


My first post here just to to say a few words about GWX :

A ton of thanks for this mod :up: Really, guys, it's amazing what you have done, just for the love of a subsim, and for all of us. Bless you ;)


I can say that at my first patrol departure with Gwx, in Kiel port,1939, was one of my big moment in my little video-game history !! Very alive port, wonderful.


I still haven't seen so much of the mod (i'm a patrol 6), but i really enjoy all the new stuff. Just two things i made : Keep the original music for the in-game , and set a more clear water with SH3Cmdr, but that's all.

Again, big thanks for all the hard work :sunny:



PS : I sunk HMS Nelson at patrol 4, which was a great moment, i guess i had a lot of luck to be there, well positioned and survive the escort ... Three torpedos hits, one miss .. It was great cause it was not a contact report from Bdu, but a surprised meeting during travel. In stock SH3, i never sunk warships other than destroyers, so i'm happy like a child :)
