To put into context what is happening in Ukraine right now, every analyst I know is in a state of disbelief at just how quickly Ukraine is advancing. They keep saying “there’s no way they’ve made that much progress”, only to see visual conformation of that progress hours later.

‘They Are Pushing Everywhere’: Kyiv Goes on the Offensive

The Ukrainian military has recaptured nearly 300 square miles of territory in a lightning dual counteroffensive in the south and the east of the country, a top Ukrainian general said Thursday, marking perhaps the most significant advance in the war in months.

After weeks of stalled fighting in and around the eastern Donbas region, Ukrainian troops began pushing Russian forces back from the country’s second-largest city of Kharkiv six days ago, threatening to cut vital supply lines for the Kremlin’s assault. And videos posted to social media showed that the snap offensive wasn’t just racking up Russian casualties but rows of prisoners.

The Ukrainian push on two fronts, striking both east toward Kharkiv and south toward Kherson, has put Russian forces on the back foot. Russia moved troops south when the big punch came in the east. “My understanding is that they are pushing everywhere,” said Tymofiy Mylovanov, an advisor to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

It's like beautiful music in my ears-Give the enemy false information on where you going to make your main move against them and then make the major move somewhere else among the frontline.

I call it making a Schwarzkopf move

In this case it wasn't a 100 % Schwarzkopf move.

The Ukrainian Army destroyed a bridge (eastern Oskil river bridge) into Kupyansk, this will hinder Russian attempts to get reinforcements into the town encircling them.

This is the plan (also in Kherson oblast) only exit/entry are bodies of water do not think Russians swim good.

Imagine the material captured that can be used to fight the coming months. Ukraine has now liberated more territory in 3 days than Putin's grand "Donbas Offensive" managed to occupy in 4 months, whole Russian units are just vanishing.

Occupying authorities announce "evacuation" from Izium and Kupiansk

The Russian invaders announced the evacuation from the territory of Kharkiv Oblast after Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a counteroffensive and liberated some of the settlements.

Source: Russian-aligned news outlets TASS and RIA Novosti, citing Maksim Gubin, the Russian-appointed head of the Kupiansk District of Kharkiv Oblast

Quote from the collaborator Gubin: "We are trying to concentrate all our efforts on evacuating the local population for at least 3-4 days, until the situation is stabilised.

We are organising evacuation cars and buses. People are being taken to the "Luhansk People’s Republic" to Svatove and to Logachevka [a village in the Valuyki district of Belgorod Oblast - ed.] in Russia. People are being placed in temporary accommodation points."

Details: According to TASS, "evacuation" is underway from Izium, Kupiansk and Velykyi Burluk in Kharkiv Oblast.

RIA Novosti reports that "women and children from Kharkiv Oblast" will be accepted "in the sanatoriums of Krasnodar Krai".

Russian news outlets note that "the situation in the Kupiansk district of Kharkiv Oblast remains difficult," but the Russian military allegedly "holds the city."

Gubin added that Ukrainian forces are conducting active combat operations in the Shevchenkivskyi district; according to him, that is currently the location of the front line.

"The Armed Forces of Ukraine are already in Izyum"
According to a fighter of the National Guard and ex-deputy of the Izyum City Council Nikita Karakay. https://twitter.com/WarMonitor3/stat...96413125287936

The move on Lyman will give the Russian command in Izyum very little time to decide whether to try to hold or to escape south then east before the door closes at Lyman. The destruction of the bridge at Yaremivka may seal their fate, clearly it will be a long night in Izyum. Putin walked like a boss in the trap he sends all what could defend the Donetsk & Kharkiv oblasts down into the Kherson trap.

Beware the quiet force. For while others roar, it watched. And while others act, it plans. And when they finally rest… it strikes.
