The campaign(s) against drunk driving should imho be just like that; shocking.

I don't have license myself, but if I had, the moment I saw a video of a car that had hit a pole and caught on fire, with 4-5 youngsters dead or unconcious inside, with the car stereo still playing the playlist they were listening to prior to the crash, I would happily oblige with the law of not drinking and driving. :nope:

I don't get affected by "gore" videos easily, but that one I saw was sad as hell. :-?

(1 survived IIRC, bystander broke the windshield and pulled him out, badly burned)

Wise words indeed....been to more than a few over the years and can never understand the pointless and avoidable tragedies :nope:

Been to one SLOW accident myself, our car hit the one in front of us due to ice at around 30kph and even that felt like quite a bang. Have that happen in 80-120kph. :nope:

Seen tons of videos and pictures of what a crash like that will do to a person, can't even imagine what it'd be like on the scene. And frankly, wouldn't even want to know. :-?

I should imagine you would have a similar reaction to the one I used to have...one of revulsion toward the 'ghouls' who would gather round and offer no help but would be quite content with staring at the carnage :stare:

Indeed. The video I saw, the guy who filmed it just walked around and talked to someone in the background. At that point, there was smoke and you could see the fire, but the car wasn't engulfed by the flames. Plenty of time there to go help.

How much was "Hollywood films" influencing against the option of not helping out in fear it would explode, I don't know, but it sickened me to watch that. :nope:

But yeah, to the funny stuff, this what the thread is for.

I shall continue with some Alien.

Simple, because it is commonly accepted that the faster you drive the bigger your penis gets. Girls and boys fall for this alike. Fuel conserving and responsible driving however renders you "impotent" in a heartbeat.
Well, consider me impotent....:nope:

I've recently got a new(ish) car, and it has an onboard computer to tell you fuel consumption, etc. - every car should have one as my driving has become purely based on the consumption figures it gives me - we average about 42 mpg and I (nearly) always aim to beat that every journey. So that means the wife drives more uneconomical than I :yeah:

Funny stuff, eh?
