Your attention to detail staggering

Recieved one of these myself for xmas so will be using your thread a lot for reference
Thanx for the detailed construction shots

Though I doubt mine will be anywhere as detailed as yours

Look forward to a shot of the finished model

This is going to be an incredible model when finished, with all the little details you've worked in. With all the multi-colored paint, unfinished parts, and weathering already on it, it kinda looks like an actual boat under construction in the dockyard. (Not sure if they would actually look that way in real life while being built, but hey, you could fool me... ;) )

Siara 12-28-08 02:50 PM

It kinda looks that way. Especially with the traces of green filler.:D

Impressive! By now that model must weigh several pounds with all the metal you've put on it. :p

Agreed. And, considering how many beer cans Siara has gone through, he may weigh several pounds more than when he started, as well.

:know:

All in the name of historical accuracy, right? ;)

This is really impressive Siara http://www.psionguild.org/forums/ima...s/thumbsup.gif

I've never had the patience or the skill (I suspect) for such a mammoth task.

Siara 12-30-08 01:00 PM

Thanks guys. Your comments are of great value to me.

I finished the last "leg" of the net cutter.
Heres the completed thing. Im happy with the way it turned out:
