No. Spliffbiff hasn't something better to offer.

Your sea is normal. Same in Ccom12 as LSH3 by the way.
In SH3, best sea rendering is when you stay at turm’s height.
The more you level up the view, the worst the rendering is :yep:
Even others mods such as MEP, Onealex etc...i can show you pictures where the rendering is terribly aweful when taking some heights.
And the more you have high waves, the worst it is.

:Kaleun_Salute:

I don't think so. The waves are not looking correct at all. The origin of this problem lies in the "harmonic" parameter for the waves in scene.dat. MEP (environment mod by Makman) has perfectly solved this problem.

Don’t tell me my waves are wrong, cause they are STRICTLY the same as stock LSH3!
Open both scene.dat with S3D, and compare the scene.dat of my mod and the scene.dat of LSH3...values for all waves (including HARMONICS) are the same :03:

I didn’t want to change the waves in LSH3 because i liked them (by the way they are strictly the same as Ccom!)
Only sea colors has been changed, but i don’t think colors affects waves shape :D

About MEP waves, go external camera and level up the view to look around...when around 10ms, waves are also aweful.

Nevertheless, in my next final version 2, i have planned to enhance the high waves.
I will let the first version link active, so if you don’t like future new waves...:D

I don't have SH3 installed so I can't check myself right now. But I remember that this graphic problem was discussed and adressed by Makman, and corrected in his MEP mod. Also, I tried his mod (several years ago) and it worked very well for each wind speed (0, 1, 2, 3 .... 15 m/s), even when looking from high altitude. I can say that because I was searching for a correction at that time and I found it in Makman's env mod.

Fifi, one little question if you don't mind...

In this last release, is the Nights Fix included or should it be enabled on top of this Final 2 version?

Thanks a lot my friend and let me tell you this is a superb piece of art!

Really great work. Thanks a lot. Waves looking good as they can possibly be in this old game. The new lightings looking superb dude. really awesome as they shine through the clouds and looking much better. Really great to watch from time to time.

I'm glad that you finally admit that and corrected it. :O:

Yes, but...this is the way waves are made, very hard to hide those reflects/artifacts. It’s very tied to day hour, depending sun altitude.
I’m quite sure if you really pay attention closely, you’ll still find some! :haha:
You don’t have that with SH4/5 engine.
