Seconded :salute:

Peter, MaMa.....
I'm not running UPlay and none of TDW's guis. Just selected mods like OHII, Dynamic Environment and a large list of others. Will OSI work without them or not? |

an important thing to remember is that actually, unless you play a stock campaign, TWOS campaign is NOT a tonnage based campaign. If i'm not wrong vdr1981 removed all tonnage based objectives so you have not to worry about that. My fix helps only to have campaign main objectives (like the transition between campaigns) updated regularly, nothing more. Different situation, however, if you are using a stock campaign. There you have to sink ships and to follow tonnage based objectives. In this case my fix fully fixes all problems related to sunk ships (therefore updating the tonnage bar correctly) and campaign main objectives update. Finally, if you need help with TWOS campaign and objectives, i recommend to follow, and to ask if needed, TWOS dedicated thread ! :03: There you will find all details regarding the game campaign and its main changes... |

Other MODS are not related to the OSI (unless you are playing OHII campaign within TWOS or Sober Mega MOD...) so you can have them installed or not, no problem with that :) . I strongly recommend to launch the game from the UPlay browser and to have the UPlay launch enabled with TDW Generic Patcher (not important if online or not, it is the same) and to apply my fix if you are experiencing problems ! |
Thx for the answer guys!

Hi Elma
You can still see all your tonnages in the Captain's Log. If you really want to be pedantic then you could take a screen shot of every sinking that shows in the Captains Log and create an individual record. Peter |
Yes i know but i mean the Tonnage that i must sunk for the actual Mission, like the 70.000brt for coastal or 80.0000brt for northern patrol,i wont see them in game and not look into the files out of game. any idea? Sorry for bad english School was Long over for me:haha:
|
Hi Elma
Ok, so this is what you are asking for? Eastern British Coastal Waters 70,000 tonnes North Western Approaches 80,000 tonnes South Western Approaches 90,000 tonnes Go to> Documents\SH5\data\cfg\SaveGames\Enter the last saved game \Campaign-2015 < shows the month, day, date, and time you started Total Germany. Look for the line that shows > Amount This is the mission objective that you need to complete that mission. Crt Amount > the tonnage or number of ships you have sunk to date will show here if still working. You can update this yourself if you wish to keep an accurate record. Tonnage sunk is in the Captain's Log. Peter |
Hi.Yes thats it,and i know it to see out of game, but there is nothing to see that in game?
|

If yes, in which objective you've saw any tonnage requirements?:hmm2: |
Yes in TWoS,but im playing Version 1.02 with german patch from Dragon.I can see it in the save files like theberbster write.
p.S: My Tonnage bar if it doesnt Count,i must load last save on sea 3-4 times then the sunks Count,if i die and load again, doesnt Count, then load 3 times again, and then Counts.....only for info.... |
It's June 1st 1940 01.45 South Western Approaches has dropped off the map but I am still seeing Coastal Waters (Total Germany) and not Happy Times.
MaMa's Fix did not work for me with Windows 7. http://i68.tinypic.com/j7pxc3.jpg I will try Vecko's work around once I am able to end the patrol. Peter |

Just kidding...But seriously, you should try few more times because, if solution worked for some on win 7 , I don't see why wouldn't for you too...:yep: EDIT Did you apply Mama's fix before date's changed to 01/06/1940 ? |
Hi Vecko
Code:
Did you apply Mama's fix before date's changed to 01/06/1940 ? When I last started my game it was May 27th 1940. I am still 2 days away from Wilhelmshaven Patrol Number 8 on June 1st. Started Total Germany on 13th July 2015 in Memel. Code:
you should try few more times because, if solution worked for some on win 7 , I don't see why wouldn't for you too Peter |
Hi Vecko
Made 3 attempts all failed with MaMa's fix. I am just wondering if all my game saves 96 and some time ago entering manual tonnages and numbers of ships sunk may be a contributing factor?:hmmm: Used your work around fix and it worked like a dream.:yeah: Peter |

just updated UPlay and everything is working fine for me. Can you post a debug report (using DBG Viewer) taken after loading your campaign game ? from that we can understand if OSI is responsible of something... it could be of help on the understanding of the problem :) . |
Following latest news arrived about the UPlay updates released i made a full check of the OSI program installed at the time of the 2nd december Uplay update.
The OSI actually installed is the same as before, the version installed still is the 0011 and the files related to this application are the same as before. I made a comparison of the main files involved in the OSI process with my decompiler and the results are the same : no files has been changed. Last information : if OSI memory usage changes during play it depends on what the OSI is processing with the actual campaign in progress and from the CPU resources assigned, it does not mean that the application has changed or it has been updated in some way. File changes can be viewed by checking the OSI.exe properties under the details flag (actually a 208Kb file). I hope this could be of some help on avoiding misleading clues in any bug hunt :03: ! |
Hi MaMa
I have changed the OSI.exe priority to realtime. Debug data is last game save loaded from Happy Times. http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php...11815250723464 Peter |
